Experian Introduces Financial Assistance Checker(SM) for Utility Companies' Low-Income Assistance Programs

COSTA MESA, Calif., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Experian®, the leading global information services company, announced the launch of Financial Assistance Checker(SM), a score designed to help utility companies qualify and recertify consumers for their low-income assistance programs. Financial Assistance Checker enables utility companies to automate a large portion of the manual review involved in these programs, making them less costly for the utility and more efficient overall.  In testing, the score has reduced manual intervention by 40 percent to 50 percent by automatically recertifying current enrollees.
