Expedia, Inc. Licenses Routehappy Scores & Happiness Factors API For Integration Into Search Results, Helping Flyers Find Happiness
Announcement signals shift to B2B focus for Routehappy as the product differentiation platform for air travel
NEW YORK, Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Routehappy, the product differentiation platform for air travel, today announced it entered a partnership with Expedia, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXPE), one of the world's largest travel companies, for full access to its proprietary Scores & Happiness Factors API.
As part of the agreement, Expedia, Inc. has full access to Routehappy's Score & Happiness Factors API, allowing its brands to integrate data into its search functionalities so customers can filter results by seat, amenities, and speed. Happiness Factors present data including Aircraft, Seat, Layout, Wi-Fi, Entertainment, and Power on the majority of flights globally, with new attributes rolling out like Fresh Food, now available for U.S. flights.
Routehappy's Score & Happiness Factor API is built from two key Routehappy systems, Flightpad and Flightmatch. Routehappy researches and verifies data from hundreds of disparate sources to create Flightpad, the most comprehensive, accurate comparable product attribute dataset for flights worldwide. Flightmatch is a set of powerful and intelligent algorithms that dynamically match and score Happiness Factors, duration, and ratings for billions of possible flight combinations.
