On May 27, 2014, U.S. Bank Wealth Management (U.S. Bank), a part of U.S. Bancorp announced the appointment of Jason Stamm as President of Central Region for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank where he will be in charge of driving growth across the Company's Central Region markets. General Growth Properties Inc. Analyst Notes
On May 29, 2014, General Growth Properties Inc. (GGP) released its 2014 Sustainability Report covering, the Company's achievements in Sustainability in 2013, and detailed information on its integrated approach to both environmental and social responsibility. The report highlights the Company's completion of its first LEED Certified project in Maryland, which includes the installation of a 6,000 gallon cistern intended for collecting rainwater which can be reused in irrigation. Further, according to the report, the Company installed solar power systems at four properties in New Jersey, which resulted in saving more than 5.5 million kilowatt hours in 2013. American Homes 4 Rent Analyst Notes
On May 28, 2014, American Homes 4 Rent announced the revised Home Price Appreciation Factor" and "Home Price Appreciation Amount" through March 31, 2014 for the Company's 5% Series A, 5% Series B and 5.5% Series C Participating Preferred Shares. The Company informed that based on the weighting among top 20 markets established under the terms 5% Series A and 5% Series B Participating Preferred Shares, cumulative home price appreciation for the period from June 30, 2013 to March 31, 2014 was 3.36%, resulting in a Home Price Appreciation Factor of 1.68%. The Company added that the Home Price Appreciation Amount was $0.420 on its 5% Series A and 5% Series B Participating Preferred Shares through March 31, 2014. According to the Company, the computation of the amounts are based on the results of the House Price index of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, specifically the non-seasonally adjusted "Purchase-Only Index" for the "100 Largest Metropolitan Statistical Areas" as of March 31, 2014, which was released May 27, 2014.
