Excitement grows as LBCT prepares for readyAGS™ pilot!

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NASCENT Technology, a leading provider of gate automation and related technologies, has announced that readyAGS, the company's driver-centric mobile application, will be piloted at Long Beach Container Terminal (LBCT) later this month. In this first phase of the implementation, readyAGS is expected to help truckers at the gate by providing relevant routing and directional information on their mobile phones. It is expected that LBCT will adopt additional functionality and expand its rollout of readyAGS in the coming months.

readyAGS is a cloud-based system featuring a mobile application that helps ease traffic congestion at the gate, reduces wait time, and facilitates the flow of information in real time. According to Anthony Otto, president of Long Beach Container Terminal, "the introduction of readyAGS will further enhance what has already become the most efficient gate process in the nation."

readyAGS has continually gained traction and momentum from both independent, as well as fleet carriers since it was announced in 2011.
