Exceptional Financial Wellness Coach Honored with NFCC® Educator of the Year Nomination

SUGAR LAND, Texas, Sept. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Money Management International (MMI) is pleased to nominate Maura Attardi of West Long Branch, New Jersey for the 2017 NFCC Educator of the Year. The award will be announced during the NFCC Connect conference, October 1 – 4 in Anaheim, California.   

Ms. Attardi focuses on developing relationships with non-traditional partners for MMI's Mapping Your Future Financial Solutions division. She has built a reputation as a trusted education partner in the field of professional sports. These partnerships have included a relationship with NFL Player Engagement, and ongoing services provided to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Attardi conducts workshops for over 30 professional sports organizations and provides financial education to student-athletes at universities across the United States.

Most recently, Attardi began working with the National Hockey League (NHL) on a multi-channel financial wellness program. The goal is for players and teams to understand the value of a trusted financial coach and to provide professional athletes with services that protect their reputation and pocketbook through exposure to financial basics.

She is certified by the Credit Data Industry Association in the Fair Credit Reporting Act and by the NFCC as a Certified Financial Educator.

A national ambassador of financial wellness for MMI since 2008, Attardi also develops and supports programs for employers and financial service organizations across the country. She meets the challenging travel schedule enthusiastically, while engaging her local community as a board member of the Pleasantville Housing Authority in New Jersey.
