Excella Consulting Names Mark Wainwright Partner
ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Excella Consulting, an Arlington-based technology consulting firm specializing in software development, business intelligence and program management announced the promotion of Mark Wainwright to Partner. He joins the executive team including Co-Founders and Partners Steve Cooper, Jeff Gallimore and Burton White, along with Partners Doug Sampson and Matt Pincombe, who joined the team in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Wainwright will continue to oversee Excella's service delivery at Marriott International, the firm's largest commercial account, in addition to new account and business development responsibilities.

Wainwright brings over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry delivering strategic business process and software solutions for both commercial and federal government clients around Washington, D.C. In addition to Marriott, he has developed and managed software development and business intelligence projects at the Department of Justice, the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), The Carlyle Group and the Physician Insurers Association of America (PIAA) since joining Excella in 2005.
His background includes project and program management, technical requirements analysis, business process analysis and design, application design, testing and implementation. Prior to joining Excella, Wainwright was a manager at Idea Integration in Fairfax, VA. He is a member of the Agile Leadership Network, the Project Management Institute and holds a Bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary.
