Exar Hires Seasoned Industry Professional as Vice President of Sales for EMEA

FREMONT, Calif., Sept. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Exar Corporation (NYSE: EXAR), a leading supplier of high performance analog mixed-signal components and data management solutions, today announced the appointment of Andreas Koller as VP of Sales for EMEA. Mr. Koller will be based near Munich, Germany and report to Steve Bakos, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing. He will be responsible for sales in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, as well as management of Exar's local staff, a network of sales representatives and authorized distributors.

Koller brings over 15 years of international sales experience to the position having previously held VP of Sales positions with leading semiconductor companies; such as Texas Instruments and Energy Micro.
