ExactTarget Co-Founder Peter McCormick Joins Smartling's Board of Directors
NEW YORK, Feb. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Smartling today announced that Peter McCormick, co-founder of ExactTarget (now Salesforce Marketing Cloud), has joined the company's board of directors. The technology heavyweight will lend his expertise in sales, marketing and cloud computing to advance Smartling's automated, cloud-based translation management platform as well as the company's global growth.
McCormick brings to Smartling the benefit of more than a decade of experience in the enterprise software industry, with a deep focus on digital marketing. McCormick also sits on the boards of Offerpop and Booker Software.

Over the last 14 years, he's held numerous executive positions at the company with responsibility for corporate development, global operations, partner development, services, products and marketing. Prior to co-founding ExactTarget, McCormick held sales and channel development leadership positions with Divine, Inc., Target Corporation and Steelcase, Inc.
