EVOQ Medical Names Long-Time Studer Group Leader as CEO

ATLANTA, Oct. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- EVOQ Medical today announced Dan Collard as Chief Executive Officer, assuming day-to-day responsibilities for operations and continuing a focus on growth by catalyzing EVOQ's early momentum, furthering the company's mission to deliver and leverage technology to improve healthcare for providers, patients and payors.

An accomplished executive with 25 years in healthcare experience, Collard joined EVOQ in February as president, having served previously as a senior leader at Studer Group and managing director at its parent company, Huron.

Collard was a consistent face of Studer Group at national and international events and helped craft its strategy in all healthcare industry segments. He helped spearhead the organization's impact in federal healthcare, testifying before the House Committee on Veterans Affairs in 2014. Additionally, Collard assisted with writing the VA reform law that same year.

Prior to joining Studer Group in 2004, Collard was a healthcare operator at LifePoint Health where he helped effect three consecutive turnarounds.
