Evolve IP Completes Acquisition of Midwest-based iPiphany & Integration of Semperon UC Customers
Successfully migrates Unified Communications (UC) customers to award-winning platform and integrates teams with Evolve IP culture
WAYNE, Pa., May 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Evolve IP, The Cloud Services Company™, today announced that it has completed the purchase and customer integration of two recently announced merger and acquisitions: iPiphany of Chicago, Illinois and Semperon of West Chester, Pennsylvania.
An Inc. 500 company, Evolve IP provides organizations with a unified option for cloud services. Today, tens of thousands of users primarily in the US and globally depend daily on Evolve IP for cloud services like virtual servers, virtual desktops, disaster recovery, unified communications, contact centers, and more.
Both organizations came to Evolve IP with a Broadsoft Unified Communications customer base and the desire to keep them with an organization that focused on excellent customer service and one that provided a stable, redundant platform with additional services. On average customers were seamlessly migrated to Evolve IP's award-winning solution in 90-120 days with many customers already taking advantage of Evolve IP's unified cloud platform.
"Immediately after launching our new call center we uncovered calling trends that made us consider changing the call center's hours of operation," said Daniel Spees, Director, ISS for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. "Within days of the implementation we experienced a significant increase in call volume due to a very successful concert launch. Our new call center system allowed us to dynamically adjust the capacities and call handling parameters of the system, allowing us to better serve our customers. The implementation was very smooth, our team loves the new system, and it's nice to finally see them really happy."
"We're continuing to evaluate acquisition opportunities in various cloud service industries throughout the country and are excited that our effective integration and presence in the Midwest Region has already translated into growth," said Guy Fardone, General Manager and Chief Operation Officer at Evolve IP. "It is one thing to acquire a company, but we also know it is another to quickly and effectively demonstrate customer and associate focused integration that leads to tangible and sustainable revenue growth. We are thrilled with our progress and are looking forward to many more acquisition opportunities."
