Evive Health Expands Executive Team to Manage Sizable Growth and Launch Next-Generation Engagement Platform
CHICAGO, March 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Evive Health, the leader in enterprise benefits engagement, expands its executive leadership team as the company continues to experience robust growth and success with large employers. The promotions and additions include newly refined roles for Evive's co-founders, more specialized priorities for the company's technology leadership, and the introduction of a C-level role focused on directing Evive's business development and sales and marketing strategies.
Co-founder Peter Saravis is now Executive Chairman, after serving as CEO since the company's inception. As Executive Chairman, Saravis is Evive's "true north," retaining and evolving the company's founding vision of better benefits experiences, while preserving Evive's collaborative culture. Co-founder Prashant Srivastava is now Chief Executive Officer, after serving as Chief Operating Officer. As CEO, Srivastava is Evive's resident visionary, setting the conceptual framework for the company's next-generation platforms, in accordance with his insights on the future of consumer technologies.
"When Prashant and I started Evive, we saw that there was nothing consumer friendly about consuming health care—so we set out to remove the complexity and bridge the gaps between people and their benefits. Despite the technological innovations of the past 10 years, this part of our mission remains unchanged," Saravis explains.
"For the past decade," Srivastava continues, "Evive has helped large employers make benefits more meaningful to each individual employee. Today, we're continuing to use emerging technologies to improve the experience even more, to make benefits even simpler and more relevant to every person, in all aspects of their lives."
To keep pace with the rapid rate of technological change, Evive's technology leadership has expanded as well. Transforming the company's software ambitions into reality are newly promoted Chief Technology Officer Raghu Venkat and Executive Vice President of Product and Delivery Keval Desai.
Desai now leads the group of product designers, engineers, and implementation specialists responsible for the next generation of user experiences in Evive's services, including artificial intelligence and invisible user interfaces. Previously VP of Technology Solutions, he oversaw the development of version 2.0 of Evive's unparalleled technology platform, integrating big data, machine learning, and business informatics.
In his new role as CTO, Venkat identifies and manages evolving technologies that support Evive's product vision. Formerly Director of Engineering, Research, and Development, he built a 60-member team of data scientists, programmers, data architects, QA and infrastructure engineers in Bangalore, Karnataka (India).
"Keval and Raghu both have played critical roles in shaping the innovations that have brought the Evive concept to life," Srivastava explains. "Their leadership and ability to drive technological innovation will continue to be essential to Evive as we carry out the next phase of our evolution."
Connecting the dots in all of these roles is Evive's first-ever Chief Commercial Officer, Jim Prekop. Aligning Evive's strategy, product commercialization, and sales and marketing efforts, Prekop will focus specifically on building an infrastructure that meets aggressive sales goals while establishing market leadership.
Prior to joining Evive, Prekop most recently served as Group Vice President at HR and financial management software vendor Workday. He brings three decades of exceptional results in the development and execution of business and product strategies for industry-leading enterprises such as TeraMedica, PeopleSoft, and Dunn and Bradstreet.
"The current state of health care and the benefits space demands fresh thinking and a progressive vision for the future of the employee experience," Prekop states. "This thinking and vision are the reasons I joined Evive: the company understands benefits, technology, and human behavior, and it has a clear vision for the way forward. I'm excited to be a part of helping to shape Evive's next generation."
Prekop will also work closely with Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Jeff Lietz. In his newly specialized role, Lietz will support the expanded sales team in key accounts, lending his deep knowledge of the concerns of large employers as they develop their benefits strategies. He also will lead efforts to grow awareness of Evive's continued innovation throughout the consultant/advisory community.
