SOMERVILLE, Mass., March 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Evergage, the real-time personalization platform company, today announced two key executive hires to bolster its team as it continues its rapid growth following a significant Series B funding round in January. Jonathan Ranger will assume the role of chief customer officer (CCO) and David Floyd will serve as vice president (VP) of finance.
"Ranger has deep knowledge and understanding of the key challenges and opportunities around analytics, marketing strategy, implementation, account management and enterprise success. Floyd complements this, bringing extensive expertise in financial operations and strategy for Software-as-a-Service companies. Together, they will strengthen our executive team as we work to extend the depth of our offerings," said Karl Wirth, co-founder and CEO of Evergage. "I am confident that Ranger and Floyd are the best people to help Evergage continue its leadership in the real-time personalization market, and am excited to announce they have officially joined the Evergage team."
As CCO reporting directly to Wirth, Ranger will lead the Evergage Customer Success organization and post-sales operations. He joins Evergage after a four-year stint at Kampyle - a leading customer feedback solution providing actionable "voice of the customer" insights and capabilities - as head of sales and service, and then as CCO. Ranger was also a top executive overseeing professional services during his seven-year tenure at LivePerson, a behavior-targeted online chat company, where he helped grow revenues from $6 million to $140 million and developed its enterprise-focused customer success team.
Floyd, as VP of finance, will also report to Wirth. An expert in Software-as-a-Service business practices, financial planning and analysis, and operations, he will be responsible for spearheading Evergage's finance, accounting and HR departments. He comes to Evergage from Localytics, where he was acting CFO for the last six months and the director of finance for nearly two years. Previously, Floyd led financial planning at Constant Contact and RSA Security.
"Both individuals have significant experience in their respective arenas, and have successfully contributed to the growth of companies similar to Evergage," continued Wirth. "We look forward to repeating that success with their help."
These appointments follow on the heels of Evergage's recent launch of two new functionalities – Evergage SmartSearch and Evergage SmartSort – to enhance its real-time, 1:1 recommendations capabilities and product and content discovery, and are a significant step toward the company's goal to grow its headcount in the Boston area by more than 70 percent before year end.
