Everest Poker Hits Ibiza With the Spanish Poker Tour
LONDON, May 14, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- 200 poker players are on their way to the nightlife mecca of Spain for the 2010 SPT Ibiza.
It is the first time the Spanish Poker Tour has stopped in Ibiza, and players from across Europe are looking forward to playing poker in one of the world's most popular island destinations.
Many of Spain's top players will be among the 200 players battling it out for a guaranteed prize pool of more than EUR150,000. Ismael Arribas, Leo Margets, Cesar Ordonez, Maria Maceiras, Pablo Ubierna and Javier Martinez Gil will be participating in the SPT Ibiza, as will the 2010 SPT Aranjuez champion, Portugal's Caterina Santos. Other players in attendance include Antoine Saout, the 3rd place finisher of the 2009 WSOP and recent EPT Copenhagen runner up, Francesco de Vivo.
Now in its third season, the SPT is fast becoming one of Europe's most popular poker tours, taking players to most beautiful destinations throughout Spain. After the huge success of the SPT Aranjuez and the crowning of the first female champion, the excitement and adrenaline is building for 2010's second stop in stunning Ibiza.
At every SPT stop, Everest Poker guarantees a prize pool of at least EUR150,000. Each SPT Main Event features the fantastic deep structure with 60-minute levels and at starting stack of 15,000 chips.
Anyone who is unable to attend the tournament can catch all the action at home on the SPT website, where the SPT Ibiza will be broadcast live in cooperation with Turtle Entertainment, the official sponsor of the SPT Live Stream. The Main Event and the live straming will start on May 14 at 8pm.
