EVENT: Bark & Co. To Host World's Biggest Dog "Pawty" in NYC July 19
More than 5,000 pups and dog lovers expected for a day packed with activities
NEW YORK, July 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/-- Bark & Co., the company behind the BarkBox monthly subscription of dog toys and treats and BarkPost daily doggie news, is hosting the second annual BarkFest, The World's Biggest Dog Pawty, on July 19.
Building on the success of last year's BarkFest, where Bark & Co. hosted a movie screening at Madison Square Park that brought more than 3,000 pups and their parents together for a night of dog-friendly films under the stars, this year's BarkFest will be packed with activities for pups and their parents to enjoy together. Activities include: agility courses, splash zones, a hot dog eating contest (for dogs!), the first-ever dog-friendly "fireworks" using LED technology, and a selfie-station with celebrity dogs Marnie The Dog, Menswear Dog, and more. A beer garden, food trucks, DJ, and adoptable dogs will add to the fun.
Dog parents in communities all over have asked Bark & Co. to make more dog-friendly experiences available so they can spend more quality time with their pups. In addition to BarkFest, Bark & Co. hosts dog-friendly hikes, picnics, parties, and more.
BarkFest will take place on the pier at 50 Kent Ave in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, from 2pm-9pm. It is free and open to the public. It is co-sponsored by Kruuse, Seek, and Voyce. For more information and to RSVP visit www.BarkBox.com/BarkFest.
About Bark & Co.
Bark & Co. is, literally, for the dogs. We are obsessed with making dogs and the people who love them happy. If this requires giving belly scratches until we get carpal tunnel or listening to squeaky toys until our ears bleed, that's cool. We are the pups and people behind: BarkBox the monthly box of toys and treats; BarkShop to find puppy-tested, hooman-approved goodies; the BarkPost daily dose of dog news; and BarkLive events to expand experiences you can share with your dog and other dog-ruvers. We believe all dogs deserve to be happy and support rescues and shelters to help dogs who don't have a hooman to call their own. For more info, sniff us at www.bark.co.
