Evana Automation Ships Two Custom Test Cells to a Leading Hydraulic Drive Products Manufacturer
Evana cells will test hydrostatic transmission drive units as part of newly integrated assembly lines
EVANSVILLE, Ind., May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Evana Automation Specialists, a leading Systems Integrator and builder of custom, automated assembly and test systems, recently shipped two custom test cells to a leading manufacturer of hydraulic drive products. The cells, which will be integrated into new assembly lines, will test hydrostatic transmission drive units.
The operator will load a drive unit on a pallet and place it in the test cell. The cell will detect that it is the correct model and activate appropriate tests. Next, the cell will engage the drive unit and test it for functionality, as well as key performance parameters. Once complete, the unit will discharge to the operator for removal and packaging.
"The intricate test cells will be integrated into new assembly lines," said Randy Wire, general manager of Evana Automation Specialists. "The entire Evana team did an exceptional job of working closely with the customer, from the beginning of the process to the end."
