EuroSite Power Inc., a Subsidiary of American DG Energy Inc., Announces Filing of Form 10 Registration Statement
WALTHAM, Mass., Aug. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- American DG Energy Inc. (NYSE Amex: ADGE), a leading OnSite Utility, offering clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling solutions to hospitality, healthcare, housing and athletic facilities, today announced that its subsidiary EuroSite Power Inc. has filed an initial Form 10 Registration Statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
"The filing of the Form 10 Registration Statement is an important achievement in our plan to create two separate, publicly traded companies," said John N Hatsopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of American DG Energy. "We believe that our target market (users of up to 1 MW) has barely been penetrated in the United Kingdom and Europe and that the reduced reliability of the utility grid, increasing cost pressures experienced by energy users, advances in new, low-cost technologies and favorable legislation and regulation may drive our near-term growth and penetration into our target market. The creation of a publicly traded company will help us access capital to support our growth plans."
A copy of the Form 10 Registration Statement is available at the SEC's website at: www.sec.gov.
