Europlasma: Foundation of CHO Power in Morcenx to be Laid on February 11, 2011

Europlasma announces the upcoming celebration of the laying of the foundation of the CHO Power biomass and waste to electricity plant under construction in Morcenx (France).
The event will take place on February 11th in presence of the supporters and partners (both public and private) contributing to the realization of this major project among which, Mister Rousset the President of the Regional Council of Aquitaine, Mister Emmanuelli the President of the Council of Les Landes County, Mister Richard the Prefet des Landes (State representative), Mister Deyres the Mayor of Morcenx, as well as industrial, commercial and financial partners.
CHO Power SAS, 100% subsidiary of Europlasma, is in charge of the plant's engineering, procurement and construction (EPC). The plant's construction started on December 1st, 2010, enabling CHO Power SAS to book its first revenues arising from the EPC contract in its accounts for the financial year ended 31 December 2010. The Civil Works are progressing in line with the planned construction schedule.
The 12 MWe plant's operating launch is expected in 2012. It will supply the equivalent of 50,000 inhabitants with electricity fully generated from the advanced plasma gasification of industrial and commercial (I&C) waste and biomass.
CHO Morcenx is located next to Inertam's asbestos and hazardous waste processing and recycling site, 100% owned by Europlasma.
