Koolicar earns Frost & Sullivan's 2015 Growth Excellence Leadership Award
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on its recent analysis of the European carsharing market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes Koolicar with the 2015 European Growth Excellence Leadership Award.
Peer-to-peer (P2P) carsharing is a type of car rental system that allows private vehicle owners to rent out their cars on an hourly or daily basis through a common platform provided by a P2P carsharing operator (CSO). This enables vehicle owners to raise their earnings significantly, and also reduces car rental rates by 40 percent. P2P carsharing has become the next step toward more affordable car rentals in the new sharing economy, as it targets vehicles that are idle 92 percent of their lifetime.
