EU-US Summit to be Held in November in Lisbon
WASHINGTON, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, and the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, will welcome U.S. President Barack Obama at the next European Union-United States Summit which shall be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on November 20.
Following an invitation by the European leaders, both sides agreed on a mutually convenient date and venue for the EU-US Summit and shall engage now in the preparations of the summit.
