SAN DIEGO, March 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- San Diego-based eSUB Construction Software (eSUB), the leading provider of mobile and cloud-based project management and document control solutions for subcontractors, today announced a technology partnership with STACK Construction Technologies, provider of the industry's first and only 100% cloud-based takeoff and estimating software, to offer integrated estimating, project management and document control.
eSUB's cloud-based construction project management platform helps commercial construction subcontractors increase their project efficiency and accountability by providing streamlined project communication and documentation. A powerful, easy-to-use mobile-first solution, eSUB automates project management tasks and creates a central cloud-based hub for real-time project information. STACK Construction Technologies provides the best-in-class Software-as-a-Service takeoff and estimating platform for commercial contractors. By creating a seamless, bi-directional integration between the two systems, clients can realize the full potential of a complete construction management solution.
"Both eSUB and STACK represent the leading edge of technology, and as a result, have experienced explosive growth," said eSUB's President and CEO Wendy Rogers. "We're are at the forefront of revolutionizing the underserved subcontractor market to shift toward mobile and cloud-based solutions. Looking at our development paths, it was a natural fit for future integration. Together, we amplify each other's strengths and make it easier for subcontractors to manage the entire project lifecycle more efficiently and profitably."
In December 2016, eSUB announced a $5 million Series A investment from Revolution Ventures. The construction tech startup previously received investment from The Investor Group, led by Sheldon Lewis, Raymond Levitt, and the Stanford Farmers Investment Club, a group of Stanford professors that make angel investments. The investment is enabling eSUB to exponentially grow and expand its offerings to serve commercial subcontractors worldwide.
"At eSUB, we've built the best-in-class construction project management platform designed exclusively for subcontractors. Many of our customers have applications that are 'must haves' for their business to run efficiently," said Benny Baltrotsky, Chief Strategy Officer, eSUB Construction Software. "Through our strategic partnerships with leading software providers like STACK, we're able to extend the value of our platform."
The partnership will connect eSUB's industry-leading platform with STACK's takeoff and estimating software and will further streamline the project delivery process for commercial subcontractors beginning in 2018. "We see this technology integration as a win-win for both eSUB and STACK, but also for the industry as a whole," said Phil Ogilby, Chief Executive Officer, STACK Construction Technologies. "Not only will the bridge be a time saver for both the field and office teams, but also increase accuracy and result in smoother, more profitable construction projects."
As project work is estimated and bids approved in STACK, the integration with eSUB will enable users to manage projects with greater accurate data. With this integration, project managers, field foreman, and workers can complete work in eSUB by collaborating on projects and using current cloud-hosted documents, including submittals, Daily Reports, RFIs, contracts, schedules, and drawings. eSUB allows everyone on the project team—from executives to field workers—to access and collaborate on the same project data from any location. Collaboration between eSUB and STACK creates incredible value for anyone working to grow their business. As technology continues to evolve in the construction industry rapidly, this new partnership is a significant step forward in helping subcontractors manage projects in less time.
The partnership will also provide both companies with more options for its clients and prospective clients who are looking for best of breed cloud-based construction management software solutions that offer seamless integration.
