Company that Simplifies Auto Collision Repair Process Secures FASTPITCH Champion Title and Splunk® Award
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Tuesday at the LA Auto Show's Connected Car Expo (CCE), Robert Herjavac of ABC's "Shark Tank" announced the much-anticipated FASTPITCH competition winner to an audience of hundreds of automotive technology enthusiasts and industry professionals. Estify, a company that streamlines the auto collision industry with the use of cloud-based services, was deemed the best of the best, among eight finalists.
Powered by Splunk®, FASTPITCH showcased the ideas of innovative professionals exploring new mobility solutions and offered competitors the opportunity to connect with top decision makers in the auto industry. Throughout the opening day of CCE, a group of esteemed influencers listened to automotive technology pitches, ranging from traffic light coordination to reduce accident frequency to a new and improved navigation system to decrease drive time.

The FASTPITCH competition challenged entrants to solve a current issue in the automotive landscape, and the diverse array of finalists addressed concerns ranging from privacy and security to mapping and safety. As reigning champion, Estify will go home with a Splunk Start Program Enterprise License: 20GB for 12-month term, including Splunk education, marketing and support teams ($40,000 Value).
This year's winner was carefully selected by Philip Potloff, Executive Vice President and CIO at Edmunds.com; Christy Wilson, VP of Product Operations at Splunk; Linda Senigaglia, NeverLost Senior Director of Product Marketing for Hertz; and Martin Price, Co-Founder of Productsy.
