EWING, N.J., May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Essential Pharmaceuticals, LLC has launched a new website for Cell-Ess® specifically focused on content relevant to large scale bioproduction of proteins. Concurrently, Essential launched a new online ordering system for Cell-Ess and Clin-Ess® transportation media. Cell-Ess is a chemically-defined and animal component free medium that can be added as a supplement or feed in a bioreactor to increase cell productivity. The new Cell-Ess website is designed with bioproduction scientists and researchers in mind, making relevant data and information easier to find. Because bioproduction scientists have different challenges and goals and will use Cell-Ess differently than basic research users, the new website contains bioprocessing- and research-specific portals. Website visitors can choose which portal they want to enter by choosing the appropriate elevator door. In the bioproduction portal, visitors can choose what "floor" they wish to go to on the elevator (examples include Hot Topics, Boost Protein Yield, and Scalability). The intuitive website navigation of the new site enables visitors to quickly find case studies, videos, presentations and other materials that speak to their unique systems and needs.

In addition to the new Cell-Ess website, the new Cell-Ess and Clin-Ess online marketplace enables a more personalized, convenient and contemporary ordering experience, allowing customers to create, save and update information in their profiles, view past orders, quickly reorder and keep track of the status of existing orders.
