OTTAWA, June 10, 2013 /CNW/ - Espial, a leader in on-demand TV software and solutions, and Pace, a leading global developer of advanced technologies for service providers, today announced that the two companies will demonstrate an advanced Reference Design Kit (RDK) set-top box (STB) experience at The Cable Show 2013, June 10-12, in Washington, D.C. The demonstration will showcase the Espial RDK-based user experience running on Pace's ultra-fast, high-performance IP STB using the Espial STB Client. Key highlights of the RDK demonstration will include an HTML5 user interface, video-on-demand storefront, popular video applications, and social media integrations all wrapped in a rich media experience.

Pace's IP client STB features industry-leading processing speeds and advanced graphics acceleration. The STB integrates with home networks via Ethernet or MoCA technologies and includes support for a variety of video formats. The IP STB supports multiple software and content security configurations.
"Utilizing the Espial STB Client on Pace's IP set-top box, cable operators can easily and efficiently deliver blended Web and TV services to customers," said Jaison Dolvane, President and CEO, Espial.
