ESG Microseismic Solutions Expands and Opens New Offices in the USA and Europe

HOUSTON, Nov. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- ESG Solutions (Engineering Seismology Group or ESG), an industry leader in microseismic technology and services, is pleased to announce the opening of its USA Headquarters in Houston, Texas as well its European Headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.  A third regional office is also now open in Denver, Colorado.

The new US Headquarters in Houston will allow ESG to better serve its growing US client base and existing international customers.  "We are very excited to bring ESG's innovative microseismic solutions to our clients in the Texas region," said Dr. Ted Urbancic, Director of Global Energy Services at ESG.  "We will offer a variety of innovative microseismic solutions that are ideal for hydraulic fracturing and longer-term reservoir monitoring projects.  Being closer to our clients allows us to efficiently deliver our suite of integrated engineering, geomechanical and advanced microseismic solutions."

Denver is the center for oil and gas activities in the Rocky Mountain region.  The unique environments of the geographic plays in the area make fracture operations ideal candidates for microseismic monitoring.  ESG's presence in this region will fill a growing need for quality microseismic services.

ESG opened its first European office this summer, to support its growing client base in the European energy, CO2 sequestration, gas storage and emerging shale gas markets.  The new office, located in downtown Amsterdam is ESG's third international office.  (ESG has offices in Dubai, UAE and Changsha, China).

ESG's Calgary office is undergoing expansion to accommodate company growth. The larger office will support seismic processing, field operations and client service for all ESG's Western Canadian operations.
