Ervin Cohen & Jessup Guides Client in Merger of Two Leading Water Brands
Primo Water Corporation to acquire all outstanding shares of Glacier Water Services
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ervin Cohen & Jessup (ECJ) today announced that its client, Glacier Water Services, Inc., a leading provider of high-quality drinking water dispensed to consumers through self-service refill water machines, will merge with Primo Water Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed top supplier of multi-gallon purified bottled water, self-service refill water and water dispensers. The transaction is valued at approximately $263 million.

Ervin Cohen & Jessup has served as Glacier's legal counsel in a variety of transactions over the years, with this latest agreement intending to generate significant operating scale through an expansive refill and exchange network.
The Ervin Cohen & Jessup deal team also included Gary Michel, Harrison Finch and Vanja Habekovic. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC acted as financial advisor to Glacier during this transaction.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in late 2016.
