Ernst & Young LLP's Thear Suzuki recognized as Future Leader by Consulting Magazine

NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ernst & Young LLP announced that Thear Sy Suzuki, Principal in the firm's Advisory Services practice and IT Transformation Practice leader for the Southwest Region, has been named a winner of a 2013

magazine's "Women Leaders in Consulting" award. Suzuki was selected for a Future Leader award for her exceptional role in leading and delivering large and complex IT Transformation programs.

Suzuki was among over 400 nominees considered by Consulting magazine. She was nominated by Carl Smith, EY Americas Advisory People Leader, who was honored by the publication for his leadership in 2013.

As the IT Transformation Practice leader for the Southwest Region of Ernst & Young LLP, Suzuki provides IT advisory services to Fortune 500 companies across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Ernst & Young LLP, Suzuki led Accenture's US Advanced Systems Delivery Practice, an organization of over 500 technologists focused on technology delivery.

Suzuki serves on the EY Americas Advisory Women's Leadership Steering Committee, a task force focused on the retention and advancement of women to the Executive Director and Partner level.

How America's Women Achievers Become Leaders. 

Suzuki is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband and four sons.
