Ernst & Young LLP adds supply chain and risk management professionals to its climate change and sustainability services practice
NEW YORK, April 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ernst & Young LLP announced today the addition of Andrew Essreg and Carol Casazza Herman to the firm's Climate Change & Sustainability Services practice. They are the newest supply chain and risk management professionals to join the multidisciplinary team that leverages the firm's core capabilities in assurance, tax, transactions and advisory to assist clients with their sustainability strategies.

Andrew Essreg, a Senior Manager and the Ernst & Young LLP East Central Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice leader based in Washington, D.C., brings extensive understanding of the sustainability and supply chain realms to the firm. Essreg has advised a diverse, global mix of public and private sector clients across multiple industries including retail, aerospace, government, education and travel on climate change and sustainability strategy, risk management and communications. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Essreg managed supply chain sustainability initiatives and communications for the U.S. Postal Service in Washington D.C., and advised clients on sustainability and corporate social responsibility as a management consultant for Five Winds International and his own firm, enVision Sustainability.
Carol Casazza Herman, a Senior Manager based in New York and Stamford, Connecticut, has extensive experience in life sciences sustainability strategy and will contribute to that sector of the firm's practice. A well-respected sustainability practitioner and environmental lawyer, she has worked with some of the country's largest corporations as well as non-profit, government and academic entities. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Casazza Herman founded her own sustainability consultancy. Previously, she was Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, Global Environment Health and Safety at Pfizer Inc. where she led the company's worldwide program and several industry-wide initiatives. Her academic experience includes teaching law and policy courses within Columbia University's innovative graduate program in Sustainability Management, Pace University School of Law's climate change program, and the Maurice A. Deane School of Law, Hofstra University's energy and environment law program.
