CARLSBAD, Calif., July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Odyssey®, the #1 Putter in Golf®, announced today that Staff Professional Ernie Els used an Odyssey White Hot XG #1 belly putter during his dramatic Open Championship victory at Royal Lytham & St. Annes in Lancashire, England on Sunday.

The win marked the fourth major championship victory of Els' professional career and, remarkably, the 15^th victory for Odyssey putters on the European Tour this season.
