Eric Schaefer Joins Southwest Media Group As Chief Of Digital Strategy
Broadcast and digital ad veteran to lead agency's growing digital media insights practice
DALLAS, Feb. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Media Group, one of the premier independent media and marketing services agencies, continues on its growth trajectory with the addition of new Chief of Digital Strategy Eric Schaefer.
Schaefer most recently served as general manager at ScreenShot Digital, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Belo Corp., which was purchased by Gannett in late 2013. There, he and his team leveraged digital media strategy, planning, programmatic buying and audience analytics to deliver insightful results and business value for clients.
In his new role at Southwest Media Group, the 19-year advertising veteran will set digital media strategy for the agency at the media planning stage. He will also lead the agency's growing development of a best-in-class programmatic strategy team and digital media insights practice.
