Eric Ruby Announced as New Branch Manager of USF Federal Credit Union Brandon Office

TAMPA, Fla., July 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- USF Federal Credit Union (USF FCU) has appointed Eric Ruby as the new Branch Manager of the Brandon office.

As Branch Manager, Ruby will be responsible for branch operations, business development, in-branch training and scheduling and analyzing and evaluating policies and procedures. He will lead and maintain a high performing branch team committed to meeting the financial objectives of the credit union.

Ruby studied at the University of Central Florida and brings with him a strong industry background. He has over 10 years of experience working in banking and finance, with over 6 years as a branch manager. He most recently served as the branch manager of SunTrust Bank in Pinellas Park, where he led the office into the top 3 in sales in 2008. Prior to that role, he worked as a mortgage loan officer for Ace Mortgage and assistant branch manager at Regions Bank.

Ruby stated, "I am looking forward to my new role as Branch Manager. I can bring a lot to USF FCU due to my prior banking experience and knowledge. I will work hard to not only ensure the overall operations run smoothly, but to also work diligently to increase membership and retention."
