Achieved through the use of a mechanical lock and corresponding key, Ergotron's Lockable Tablet Mount is the designed for sustained tablet use in highly trafficked office, education, and healthcare settings. Rigorously tested, this new mount is compatible with most popular tablets like Apple's iPad Pro, iPad Mini, the Microsoft Surface and the Samsung Galaxy and is appropriate for many business applications including info kiosks, interactive restaurant ordering, public signage or healthcare patient entertainment.

The sliding brackets accept most tablet sizes, with or without cases, from 5.3 to 8.7" (13.5–22 cm) x 7.9–12" (20–30.6 cm). The bracket accepts the typical screen size of 7.9" up to 13". The maximum tablet depth is .9" (2.3 cm) and the mount supports a weight capacity up to 5 lbs (2.3 kg). The mount is made of robust metal and the composite design dampens both shock and vibration.
