"Electronic commerce is enjoying rapid adoption across many sectors, in both business and government transactions," said Vince Corica, senior vice president, Equifax. "Methods for initiating, completing and recording electronic signatures and records are expanding as demand increases, with many technologies to choose from. In order to accommodate the increasing demand for paperless transactions and records, Equifax partnered with DocuSign to support electronic signature methods across various industries."
A national provider of employment, IRS income and identity verification products that enable financial institutions to help combat fraud, Equifax continues to work closely with Washington, D.C. to strengthen and expand its various government agency relationships, and has nationwide clients that include 85 percent of the top U.S. mortgage companies. Leveraging DocuSign's eSignature solution, organizations can now submit electronically signed consent forms, when required, while using Equifax verification services. Federal agencies such as the Social Security Administration have established entirely electronic secure data transactions, evidencing the strong demand for such methods.
DocuSign maintains an online contract execution platform, permitting parties to consent to use electronic records and signatures, execute a contract with electronic signatures, and retain copies of the executed contract on paper and/or in electronic form. The DocuSign system controls the routing, signature capture, activity logging and storage of original documents that are uploaded by a sender.
"DocuSign's eSignature solution helps customers finish business faster," said Dustin Grosse, chief marketing officer at DocuSign. "By partnering with Equifax, we're able to offer a complete solution to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. With electronic signature technology, organizations can speed processes, reduce costs and increase security for obtaining a signature."
Interested parties should contact their DocuSign or Equifax representative for more information or to schedule a presentation.
