Epicore BioNetworks Inc. Announces Normal Course Issuer Bid
EASTAMPTON, NJ, June 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Epicore BioNetworks Inc. ("Epicore") announced today that the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSXV") has accepted notice filed by Epicore of its intention to make a Normal Course Issuer Bid through the facilities of the TSXV.
The notice provides that Epicore may, during the twelve month period commencing June 15, 2016 and ending June 14, 2017, purchase for cancellation on the TSXV and alternative Canadian Markets up to 500,000 shares of its common stock. This purchase amount represents 1.9% of the 26,361,229 outstanding common shares as of June 8, 2016. Epicore will pay the market price at the time of acquisition for any such shares. The actual number of shares purchased and the timing of any such purchases will be determined by Epicore. The member who will conduct the Normal Course Issuer Bid on behalf of Epicore is Echelon Wealth Partners, through its registered representative, Ken Muir. Epicore believes, depending on future trading prices and other factors, that the use of excess cash flow to purchase its common shares is a worthwhile investment that is in the best interest of the shareholders. Epicore has not previously acquired any of its common shares under a Normal Course Issuer Bid in the last 12 months.
