EDMONTON, March 22 /PRNewswire/ - To mark World Water Day, EPCOR Utilities Inc. released a series of video shorts promoting public awareness about water issues.
Water scarcity is a growing concern, and Albertans are not immune to the problem, says Bob Sandford, EPCOR Chair in support of the United Nations' Water for Life Decade of Action initiative in Canada. We all have to start acting and thinking today about solutions for the future, says Sandford in one of the short videos available on YouTube.
Other short videos include discussion of how EPCOR is:
- bringing together municipalities and industry to develop water re-use solutions that help the environment, community and commerce;
- using a holistic perspective to protecting the watershed.
The videos were produced to promote EPCOR's commitment to protecting our water heritage, and preserving resources for the future.
