EPA Recognizes SCIenergy® With a 2012 ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence Award

SAN FRANCISCO, March 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SCIenergy, Inc., the global leader in providing building performance solutions for owners and operators, today announced that it has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with a 2012 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award in recognition of its continued leadership in protecting the environment through energy efficiency.

The 2012 Sustained Excellence Awards are given to a select group of organizations that have exhibited outstanding leadership year after year. These winners have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by setting and achieving aggressive goals, employing innovative approaches, and showing others what can be achieved through energy efficiency. These awards recognize ongoing leadership across the ENERGY STAR program including energy-efficient products, services, new homes and buildings in the commercial, industrial and public sectors. Award winners are selected from about 20,000 organizations that participate in the ENERGY STAR program.
SCIenergy will be honored at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 15, 2012, which marks the 20th anniversary of ENERGY STAR. SCIenergy ENERGY STAR awards include: Partner of the Year - Energy Management (2001, 2002, 2003); Partner of the Year - Service and Product Provider (2009); and Sustained Excellence Award Recipient (2004, 2005, 2006, 2010, 2011, 2012).
