Bentall Kennedy will be recognized for its commitment to energy efficiency in Washington, D.C. on April 26, 2017 at the 2017 ENERGY STAR Awards ceremony. The company's continued participation in ENERGY STAR has led to strong improvements in its portfolio's average ENERGY STAR score, which reached 81 in 2016—a 5.2 percent year-over-year improvement. In 2016, the company increased the number of ENERGY STAR certified properties in its office portfolio from 25 to 36.
