EOIR Subject Matter Experts Participated in SPIE DSS 2015
FREDERICKSBURG, Va., April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- EOIR Technologies, Inc. announced today that it participated in three of the conferences at the SPIE Defense, Security and Sensing (DSS) 2015. As one of the most important events on optics, imaging, and sensing, SPIE DSS covers a broad range of topics, including sensor technologies, data and signal analysis, tracking and targeting, communications, networks, sensor platforms, energy topics, and materials. It is held annually in Baltimore, MD and was attended by 6,000 scientists, researchers, program managers, and company representatives who gathered to collaborate on and advance their scientific work.

Dr. Swett was on the program committee for Geospatial Informatics, Fusion, and Motion Video Analytics V and also co-authored one of the papers presented along with Chris Burnette, Sr. Computer Scientist.
Dr. David Stokes, Principal Physical Scientist, was on the program committee for Advanced Environmental, Chemical, and Biological Sensing Technologies XII and was the chair on three sessions and the co-chair for one.
Dr. Swett and Dr. Kevin Green, Computer Vision Scientist, co-chaired sessions for Detection and Sensing of Mines, Explosive Objects, and Obscured Targets XX. Chris Burnette, Sr. Computer Scientist, and Dr. Green each presented papers that were also co-authored by Matthew Schneider, Lead Computer Scientist; Chris Geyer, Lead Engineer; Diane Deterline, Sr. VP; and Dr. Swett.
