EOC Names New Staff for Utility Assistance Program
DENVER, Jan. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Energy Outreach Colorado has named Enrique Hernandez as its Utility Assistance Manager and Katharine Keenan as Utility Assistance Assistant.
Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC), an independent non-profit, contributes about $10 million each year through its Utility Assistance program to help pay the home energy bills for thousands of limited-income Colorado seniors, families with children and individuals with special needs.
Hernandez most recently worked with Colorado's Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) through the Colorado Department of Human Services as the senior policy analyst and quality assurance specialist. He has eight years of experience with government and nonprofit programs that deliver utility bill payment assistance to limited-income Coloradans. He replaces Jennie Miller, who retired after managing the program for 14 years.
Keenan has 10 years of experience working with nonprofits in the areas of media relations, administration, recruitment and technical support.
