Environmental Tectonics Corporation's Simulation Division Presents a Complete Airport Disaster Management Training Solution at Farnborough Air Show
SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Environmental Tectonics Corporation's (OTC Bulletin Board: ETCC) ("ETC" or the "Company") Simulation Division announced today that ETC has introduced a complete airport disaster management planning and training solution at the Farnborough Air Show.
From Disaster Manager to Vehicle Operator, all can prepare and train to be ready and confident for the next live drill, real emergency, or security threat. Example incidents that are available are aircraft crash, terminal building fire, fuel farm leak, and security threats such as intruders, car bomb, and explosives on board.
The new simulator combines all the advantages of existing proven ADMS Simulators for Incident Command training (ADMS™-Command) with Vehicle Operation training (ADMS™-ARFF and ADMS™-Drive). ETC Simulation also integrated dynamic damage to the aircraft and accurate passenger evacuation models, two important factors for a true-to-life training experience.
The set-up of this robust airport solution is flexible to meet several training needs: emergency management, airport driving, and vehicle operation. Any airport can be replicated, and the same is true for fire trucks, ambulances, police and military vehicles, snow plows, et cetera. The simulator is available as a portable system all the way up to full immersion theaters, including motion-based vehicle cabs.
ADMS™ is a Virtual Reality Simulation Training Stage that houses multiple products to include Incident Command training from technical to strategic level (ADMS™-Command), driver training and vehicle operation (ADMS™-ARFF and Drive) and Police Coordination Center (ADMS™-Police). A unique level of immersion is achieved by ETC's signature technology, blending physics-based simulation, embedded artificial intelligence, accurate animations, photo-realistic graphics, ambient sounds, vehicle controls, and motion platforms. ADMS enables first responders and emergency managers to train and rehearse at all levels of response, in a safe, economical and green way.
