DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A journey into the Dragons' Den is among the latest programming highlights revealed today for CompTIA ChannelCon 2015, the premier training and partnering event for the IT channel produced annually by CompTIA, the IT industry trade association.
Taking place Aug. 3-5 in Chicago, CompTIA ChannelCon 2015 will feature a "channelized" version of the popular UK and Canadian television show "Dragons' Den."
Some of the most hopeful and innovative tech start-ups will share a five-minute pitch with CompTIA's panel of dragons: Mark Achler, managing director, MATH Venture Partners; Troy Henikoff, managing director, Techstars Chicago; Quy Nguyen, founder and CEO, Allyance Communications Inc.; and Howard Tullman, CEO, 1871.
After each pitch, the start-ups will get valuable feedback and tips from the Dragons on business best practices to help their companies grow and thrive.
Two companies are prepared to enter the CompTIA Dragons' Den – NexLP and Telnyx – with others to be named later.
"We expect our Dragons' Den program to be one of the most anticipated and well-attended sessions at ChannelCon 2015," said Kelly Ricker, senior vice president, events and education, CompTIA.
