Entrepreneur Magazine Partners With Fame & Philanthropy's Post Academy Awards Celebration To Support Community Inspiring Today's Youth (CITY)
High-Profile Guest List will Raise Money for Charitable Organizations, Including CITY, an Entrepreneurial Development Program for Young Adults
IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Entrepreneur is thrilled to announce its corporate sponsorship of Fame & Philanthropy's inaugural post celebration of the 86th Annual Academy Awards. The event will raise money for charitable organizations, including Community Inspiring Today's Youth (CITY), and will take place Sunday, March 2 at the Vineyard Beverly Hills.
Film director James Cameron will kick off the event as the keynote speaker, and the festivity excitement only continues from there. Fame & Philanthropy's fundraiser includes a star-studded night featuring special guest appearances by Charlize Theron and Halle Berry. Grammy Award-winner Ne-Yo will headline the evening, while DJ duo the Stafford Brothers will be spinning all night.
"Getting involved in the visibility surrounding the Academy Awards was motivated by CITY's entrepreneurial mission," says Ryan Shea, president of Entrepreneur. "As heavy supporters of business ownership, we're inspired to help an organization that takes such a hands-on approach to helping teens and young adults go after their entrepreneurial dreams."
Guests will enjoy an evening of entertainment while achieving the common goal of philanthropy. CITY will be among the charities receiving funds from the event. It offers a micro-entrepreneurship program to underserved youth, teaching them skills to establish their own businesses in the future. Other supported organizations from this event include The Compound Foundation, Jenesse Center, Inc. and the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project.
