Enterprise Center Hosts Special Veterans Workshop in Cooperation With Congressman Tierney
"From Military Service to Entrepreneur"
SALEM, Mass., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --Today, the Enterprise Center at Salem State College announced a special workshop for veterans who want to start their own businesses. In coordination with Congressman John F. Tierney (D-MA), a strong advocate for our soldiers, "From Military Service to Entrepreneur" will be open to all veterans and those interested in veterans issues, and admission is free.
"We know that the transition from military service to private life can be tough and challenging. Many returning veterans have goals of self-employment, and the good news is Veterans Affairs can help them reach that goal. This workshop will showcase three companies started by area veterans and also provide specific information about the resources and assistance available," said Congressman Tierney.
"The Enterprise Center's goal is to help business owners grow and thrive. We honor the veterans who have served and now want to start their own businesses. This workshop will, we hope, help them to succeed and introduce them to the resources all around them who are rooting for their success," said Christine Sullivan, Executive Director of the Enterprise Center.
