Enter The Art Institutes Storytellers Photography Competition Today - Deadline is March 2
Entrants will Compete for Multiple Photography Scholarships
PITTSBURGH, March 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The deadline for The Art Institutes Storytellers Photography Competition is just a few days away. Individuals with a flair for photography still have time to submit their entries for an opportunity to earn up to a $40,000 tuition scholarship at one of 39 participating Art Institutes schools. Entries will be accepted through Friday, March 2.
Open to both high school seniors and high school graduates, The Art Institutes Storytellers Photography Competition requires entrants to tell a visual story through six original photographs that follow the theme "Storytelling Through the Lens." Along with the photos, entrants must submit a 500-800 word artist statement describing the entry and a high school transcript or proof of high school graduation demonstrating a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
The national grand prize winner in the high school senior category earns up to a $40,000 tuition scholarship and the national grand prize winner in the high school graduate category earns up to a $10,000 tuition scholarship to one of 39 participating Art Institutes across the U.S. Entries are initially judged at the local level, with one finalist from each participating school advancing to the national level.
