The written Chinese language has more than 3500 characters.  Existing on-screen keyboard programs for entering Chinese characters via Pinyin simply display the English alphabets which can be selected to enter Chinese characters.  This technique is inefficient and may result in various spelling or grammatical errors.  An improved on-screen keyboard for entering Chinese characters is needed.
