Agency expands entellitrak usage with another instance in the same Cloud

HERNDON, Va., May 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today MicroPact announced an award from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Labor Management Relations (LMR) office for the purchase of its data tracking and management platform entellitrak®. This is the VA's fourth entellitrak implementation, and the third that they are hosting in the Cloud with MicroPact.

"I think the VA's approach really highlights just how flexible our software and hosting model is," said Ryan Whelan, Vice President of Technical Operations at MicroPact. "In the VA's case, they own the server their software resides on, and we host and maintain it for them. In this way, they are able to add additional entellitrak instances for whatever business process they want to manage, without having to incur any additional hardware or maintenance expense."

To accelerate their implementation, the VA selected entellitrak's Labor Relations (LR) Edition, one of several entellitrak pre-configurations. "entellitrak pre-configurations are much easier and much faster to implement than custom coding or traditional BPM software," said Kristoffer Collo, MicroPact's President and CEO. "The VA's expanded use of our pre-configurations is a huge vote of confidence."

The VA will use entellitrak LR as a comprehensive Labor Relations management system for the oversight of activities such as grievance management, counseling, training, official time management, and negotiation management. With the LR system in place, the VA will be able to develop greater insights into the status of labor-management relationships and employee workloads.
