The sixth annual event, themed "Creating Opportunities Through Innovation & Change," explores the MTA's programs in support of MWDBEs, which enable eligible firms to develop and grow within the construction industry, and establish stable, long-term business relationships with the MTA. The conference agenda will focus on MWDBEs, the Small Business Development Training Program, updates to the 2015-2019 Capital Plan, success stories from MWDBEs, ongoing Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, and innovative, new programs including IT, Legal, Architecture and Engineering.
The event will include opening remarks from the MTA's Vice Chairman, The Honorable Fernando Ferrer.
