Enjoy a Free Dinner at the Lemont and Make a Difference for Needy Kids and Seniors
CARNEGIE, Pa., March 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Have dinner at Pittsburgh's renowned LeMont Restaurant, courtesy of owners Ed and Anna Dunlap and make a difference in the lives of needy seniors and children. On Sunday, April 18th, The Salvation Army and WTAE TV's Project Bundle-Up is hosting its first "Auction Kickoff Dinner." All that is asked of participants is that they bring a gift to stock the auction closet. The requested donation is a new item in its original packaging or a gift certificate with a minimum value of $100 per person. The gifts collected will be auctioned at the Annual Project Bundle-Up Online Auction in July 2010.
The annual Project Bundle-Up Auction is a key fundraiser that supports the purchase of new winter outerwear. In conjunction with WTAE-TV, the annual online auction generates more than $100,000 annually. Since its inception twenty-four years ago, Project Bundle-Up has provided more than 212,000 disadvantaged Western Pennsylvanian children and senior citizens with new winter coats, hats, scarves, gloves and boots.
