(ADS) is pleased to announce that its Medics automation suite now has enhanced features that augment its already robust intake capabilities for Behavioral Health (BH) and Addiction Disorder (AD) treatment organizations. These intake enhancements also greatly improve BH and AD call center workflow.

Secure intake improvements are facilitated through the system's MedicsPortal, MedicsKiosk, and specialized apps that are iPad^®, iPhone^®, and Android^® compatible. The BH/AD organization's patients and clients are empowered to be independent, and can self-serve in any number of ways both in advance and on arrival.

In advance, MedicsPortal users log in and securely complete any forms and questionnaires required. The portal is excellent for bi-directional communication that works to eliminate phone time, waiting on hold, and leaving messages. Portal users can also request appointments and update their insurance and demographics to the extent allowable by the BH/AD organization.

On arrival, patients and clients can use the MedicsKiosk for unassisted check-ins. At that point, the kiosk user completes any additional forms, intake questions, or assessments specifically relative to their visit. Information flows directly into his or her Medics profile eliminating "paperwork" and the manual input typically required by staff.
