England Logistics included in Inc. Magazine's Build 100 List For Sustained Growth
SALT LAKE CITY, April 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Inc. Magazine named England Logistics to The Build 100, a business index that honors an elite tier of mid-market (85-999 employees) companies that have expanded employment in each of the last five years. England Logistics, founded in 1997, currently employs about 400 professionals in the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) industry and has experienced over 40% job growth in the last year alone.
The Build 100 highlights companies that were able to increase in size and be considered sustained-growth champions during the recession (between 2007 and 2012). Some of the industries included in the list are IT services, media, Logistics & Transportation providers, Advertising & Marketing platforms, and Retail, and more. The Build 100 took five years of company data and economic research to accurately compile statistics that measure the growth of each company. Gary Kunkle, Inc. Magazine's economist-in-residence, was able to determine that a significant predictor of a company's future success is steady growth.
"Slow and steady wins the race," says Inc. economist-in-residence Gary Kunkle. "Incremental advancement, repeated over time, achieves greater results. That said, Build 100 companies grew, on average, 35 percent annually during the five years studied."
England Logistics has seen this sustaining growth and is honored to be recognized for this achievement. England Logistics has strived to add qualified members to its team and maintain a positive work environment to encourage individual career growth, as well as, overall company growth.
"I'm thrilled that our team's efforts to continue to grow and provide strong employment opportunities despite the challenges the economy presents are being recognized by such a credible representation as Inc. Magazine," said Jason Beardall, England Logistics' Chief Executive Officer.
