ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- From walking the halls of the Pentagon to pitch his new defense contracting company, to standing among last year's 100 fastest-growing Hispanic-owned companies in the nation, Raymond F. Lopez, Jr. has something to celebrate today: 20 years in business.

This month, his company, Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN), celebrates its 20-year anniversary as a leading engineering and IT solutions firm. Mr. Lopez has taken ESN from a two-person shop (consisting of him and his wife, Carol) to a 250-employee industry leader with $38 million in revenue in 2014.

Mr. Lopez got his start in the corporate arena after retiring from a 29-year career in the Navy, where he rose from a Seaman Apprentice to a full Commander. His military experience helped him start ESN in 1995. "I'm extremely proud of the small part we play in helping to maintain our national defense," he said.
ESN provides military and civilian government customers with services in engineering and technical support, strategic and program management, testing and evaluation, operations support and information technology.
